On September 6, 2025, the Lodge will distribute 60 duffel bags filled with essential supplies at the Veterans Stand Down event, hosted by People Helping People. This initiative provides critical resources like personal hygiene items, snacks, and water to veterans in need, showcasing the Lodge’s commitment to supporting those who served our nation. The event reflects the Lodge’s broader dedication to fostering hope and dignity within the community.

Through the Elks National Foundation’s Beacon Grant, the Lodge donated $4,000 to People Helping People’s Weekend Blessing program, supplying weekly meal bags to K-8 students facing food insecurity and monthly food backpacks to seniors. Additionally, the Lodge’s Spotlight Grant funded 100 personal supply bags for the homeless, containing essentials like soap, shampoo, and tarps, distributed in partnership with local organizations like Marine Corp 708. These efforts highlight the Lodge’s role in tackling hunger and homelessness with hands-on involvement.
